Hahahahah! It would be more funny if all of those examples were lies. This is how I feel every day, honestly. I hope someday religion is regarded as a mental illness.
No its not. The religious believe that someone is always watching over them. Someone invisible who can hear them when they think thoughts to them. Some even say they can hear this invisible man talk back. Kind of seems a bit like schizophrenia to me. Also, its not 90%. It’s no where near that. But even if it was… so what. If I could somehow brainwash 90% of the world into thinking the sky was fluorescent orange that doesn’t mean anything. You see, unlike theology, whether someone believes something or not does not change a fact.
I like the comic. One thing though. The angry face in the middle (the one responding to God’s soldiers) is inquistor Mozgus, possibly the most disgusting and cruel religious fanatic depicted in fiction. Its ironical that he is used to represent an Atheist’s response, don’t you think?

Regarding religion as a mental illness is an insult to people who actually have mental illnesses.

Cars and houses are expensive and not every person can buy it. However, loan are created to help people in such kind of situations.
Thoughts and reason are hard and (apparently) not every person has it. However, school are created to help people in such kind of situations.
